2010 Staff-of-the-Year, Faculty Teaching & Advising Award winners announced
The St. Catherine University community gathered in Our Lady of Victory Chapel on May 14 to honor staff and faculty for their professional contributions and years of service to the University.
Candidates for employee of the year were nominated based on their efficient and professional work performance, positive communication skills and contributions to the campus community. Each winner received a cash prize and certificate of appreciation.
Support Staff Category
Robert Marson, network data specialist, information technology (IT) department.
Administrative Staff Category
Kimberly Betz, director, Career Development Center.
Candidates for this honor represent the highest quality of teaching and dedication to academic advising. A selection committee visited classrooms, reviewed syllabi and delved into course evaluations and letters of support to find nominees that were deeply dedicated to challenging and transforming students.

Louise Miner, associate professor, Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership program
Deep Shikha, chair, Department of International Business and Economics and interim dean of the School of Business and Leadership.
Years of service
A number of faculty and staff were also recognized for their years of service with St. Catherine.
