Through a collaboration of the School of Business and Professional Studies and the 3M Women’s Leadership Network, 3M CEO Inge Thulin discussed “Global Innovation, Global Leadership" at St. Catherine University on March 26, 2013. 

Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership Program Director Rebecca Hawthorne led the discussion with Thulin, weaving audience questions into the dialogue.

Thulin discussed how he developed as a leader at 3M and his philosophy and insights into the art of leadership in a global economy. He also shared some of the business tactics used at 3M, including the New Product Vitality Index, Return on Investment and other financial metrics. Thulin's sold-out talk was part of the St. Catherine Forum on Leadership, hosted by the Leadership Institute.
