St. Kate's students witness challenges of homelessness through St. Stephens program

Students in a Global Search for Justice course with a focus on Changing the Face of Homelessness learn about misconceptions and challenges for homeless individuals, through a day-long program offered by St. Stephens Human Services.

Called A Day in the Life, the program educates students about homelessness through a walking education, conversation with educators who have previously experienced homelessness, reflection and opportunities for action.

The experience is offered to students through a partnership with the Center for Community Work and Learning at St. Kate's.
