St. Kate's MBA program to hold info sessions
St. Catherine University today announced that the St. Kate’s MBA will launch Spring Semester, February 2014. The program is the only MBA in the state to offer a concentration in Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC).
In addition, the University is drawing on its deep expertise in health professions to offer an MBA concentration in Healthcare. A third concentration in Management will also be offered.
Using the cohort model, students in the MBA program will learn collaboratively in classes offered evening, weekends and online to complete the degree in 24 months. The program is open to both women and men.
Global perspectives, sustainable mindset
Led by longtime St. Catherine University Economics Professor Deep Shikha, Ph.D., the St. Kate’s MBA is offered through the School of Business and Professional Studies and emphasizes ethical leadership, global perspectives and sustainable practices for people, planet and profits.
The University has a new space on the fifth floor of International Market Square, 275 Market St., Minneapolis, where most classes in the Integrated Marketing Communications and Management cohorts will meet. The Healthcare concentration will meet on the St. Paul campus, 2004 Randolph Ave., St. Paul.
Developed in collaboration with business leaders and influencers
MBA faculty collaborated with Twin Cities business leaders and influencers to develop a curriculum for the program that ensures graduates are learning skills that will advance their careers and is grounded in the University's mission to develop ethical, reflective and socially responsible leaders.
Information sessions to learn more about the MBA and other graduate programs at St. Kate’s are scheduled Saturday, Nov. 9, 9-11 a.m. Sessions are held on the St. Paul campus in the student center, Coeur de Catherine, in Rauenhorst Hall.
