St. Catherine Choral Society holds auditions

The St. Catherine Choral Society is holding auditions for area singers through Aug. 26 at St. Catherine University. The choir will perform a concert on Nov. 13, featuring Rutter’s Mass of the Children and Handel’s Utrecht Jubilate, under Director Patricia Connors, Ph.D.

If you are an experienced singer and you are interested in performing with the choir, please call (651) 690-6688 to schedule an appointment. For more information, visit www.stkate.edu/music.

The St. Catherine Choral Society is a large mixed chorus, which combines St. Catherine University students, faculty, staff and experienced singers from the community in performances of symphonic choral works.  The choir performs two concerts per year, in The O’Shaughnessy Auditorium and other venues, accompanied by a professional symphony orchestra and, often, guest soloists. Rehearsals are held Thursday evenings and they will begin Sept. 8.
