The St. Catherine Choral Society presents their concert, “Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual Songs,” Sunday, May 3, at 3 p.m. in the Church of St. Thomas More, 1093 Summit Avenue, St. Paul.

Igor Stravinsky’s famous Symphony of Psalms is the focal work in a program that also features Mozart’s Litany of Loretto and Giovanni Gabrieli’s double-choir Jubilate Deo. The 75-voice choir will be joined by soloists Linh Kauffman, Angela Keeton, Gary Ruschman and Timothy Takach, and an orchestra of professional musicians. Patricia Cahalan Connors will conduct.

Tickets are available at the door and cost $10 for adults, $5 for alumnae and non-St. Kate’s students, and free for students with St. Kate’s ID.

The St. Catherine Choral Society is a community masterworks choir sponsored by St. Catherine University. Founded in 1993, the choir has gained a reputation for their artistry and joy in performing. Men and women from across the metro area, as well as St. Catherine students, faculty, staff and alumnae comprise the choir.
