St. Catherine Choral Society holds auditions

The St. Catherine Choral Society invites adults from the community to audition for membership July 23-Aug. 1 and Aug. 21-31 at St. Catherine University.

The St. Catherine Choral Society is a large mixed chorus that combines St. Catherine University students, faculty, staff and experienced singers from the Twin Cities in performances of symphonic choral works. The choir performs two concerts per year, in O’Shaughnessy Auditorium and other venues — accompanied by a professional symphony orchestra and, often, guest soloists. Rehearsals are held Thursday evenings and will begin Sept. 6.

For more information, visit the St. Catherine Choral Society's webpage and see the slideshow in SCAN for insights from some members.

The choir will be preparing for a November 11 performance of Haydn’s Creation.  Dr. Patricia Connors is the director. If you or someone you know is an experienced choral singer, call 651-690-6688 to schedule an appointment.
