The St. Catherine Choral Society, under the direction of the Department Chair for Music and Theater, Patricia Connors, will perform George Frederick Handel’s Utrecht Jubilate and John Rutter’s Mass of the Children at 3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 13, at Holy Spirit Church, 515 South Albert Street, St. Paul.

In a first-time collaboration, the choir will be joined by The Minnesota Boychoir for the charming Mass of the Children and will accompanied by an orchestra of professional musicians. Assistant Professor of Music Kristie Tigges, Angela Keeton and Seth Keeton will be soloists.

Founded in 1993, the Choral Society is comprised of the voices of men and women from the community, as well as St. Catherine students, faculty and staff.  The group is known for its joy and artistry in presenting new and classic choral/orchestral works.

Well known for their musical excellence, the Minnesota Boychoir has been “helping boys find their voice” for 50 years.  The director is Mark Johnson.

Admission to the concert is $10 adult and $5 student. [free with a St. Catherine I.D.]
