St. Catherine University’s Women’s Choir and String Chamber Orchestra present the 2013 Candlelight Christmas Concert, “O Branch, Coming into Leaf,” at 8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7, in Our Lady of Victory Chapel on the St. Paul campus.

A celebration of the Advent and Christmas seasons, the concert features seasonal music spanning the centuries, from chant by Hildegard of Bingen, to a concerto grosso by Corelli, to traditional carols and contemporary compositions, interspersed with reflective readings. Audience members are invited to sing along on "Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming" and "Silent Night."

The event also caps off Alumnae Relations’ Home for the Holidays reception, which precedes the concert.

The concert is free and open to the public.
