St. Kate's community hosts second annual Food Week
Food Week, a week dedicated to awareness and mobilization around issues of food justice, returns to St. Catherine University for its second year during the week of Nov. 26 through Nov. 30, 2012.
The theme for this year's week-long event is "Just Food, Just Lives: Never Separate the Life You Live From the Food You Eat." The week kicks off on Monday with an Opening Rally at noon and a guest appearance by Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie at 5 p.m. in Rauenhorst Hall in the Coeur de Catherine student center.
The events, which are free and open to the public, will continue on both the Minneapolis and the St. Paul campus through Friday. Below is the schedule of events.

Throughout the week, the Food Justice Coalition will have a table in the Coeur de Catherine in the 2nd Floor Atrium during lunch. Responses to a survey and ideas for a cookbook around food justice will also be collected throughout the week.
