The second annual "Give to St. Kate’s Day" on Tuesday, Nov. 15, marked the largest single day of giving in St. Kate's history, in support of the University’s Annual Fund.

The St. Kate’s Annual Fund earned $332,463 total dollars at the end of “Give to St. Kate’s Day” with 143 brand new donors and 400 donors increasing their gifts. All in all, the Annual Fund attracted 723 total donors, including 21 new President's Forum Members.

The St. Catherine University Annual Fund supports student financial aid, faculty resources and touches almost every student support office across the University’s Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses.

"This successful campaign gives us the opportunity to highlight the alumnae, parents, friends, faculty, staff and students who generously support St. Kate’s,” said Annual Fund Director Stacy Rooney.  “We are grateful to all of our donors.  This total represents 15 percent of our Annual Fund goal in just one day of giving."

Inspired by GiveMN's "Give to the Max Day," "Give to St. Kate's Day" featured a $120,000 challenge fund to attract first-time donors and to encourage existing donors to make an additional gift.

Student needs ongoing

Donors may continue to give to St. Kate's throughout the year.

The process is simple and secure—donors can log on to and contribute with a credit card or to learn more about KatieDirect or other types of gifts visit Ways to Give on the University’s website.
