Alumna and theater instructor captures an Ivey Award

Actress and theater instructor Shanan Custer ’92 not only co-hosted the 2013 Ivey Awards on Sept. 23, she also captured one of the honors.

Custer is the playwright and one of the stars of “2 Sugars, Room for Cream” at Hennepin Theatre Trust, which received an Ivey for Ensemble Acting. She is an adjunct instructor in St. Kate’s Core Curriculum.

Numerous media outlets covered the event, including the Star Tribune and Vita.mn.
