Professor Emerita receives international honor

Professor Emerita of Nutrition Julie Miller Jones, Ph.D., was awarded the Fellowship of the ICC Academy by the International Association for Cereal Chemistry at its Latin American conference in April.

Jones has been a frequent speaker at ICC conferences and served as an advisor to committees and projects.  

At St. Kate's, she was the 3M Endowed Chair in Science Adjunct Professor and was twice honored with the University's Teaching and Advising Awards as well as the Alumnae Association's Myser Award for outstanding faculty.

The recipient of the American Association of Cereal Chemists’ highest honor, the William F. Geddes Award, Jones received her B.S. from Iowa State University and her Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota.
