Minnesota Association of Deaf Citizens holds conference at St. Kate’s
The Minnesota Association of Deaf Citizens (MADC) will hold its 59th Biennial Conference at St. Catherine University from June 24-25.
During the 2011 MADC Awards Luncheon on Saturday, Governor Dennis Daaguard of South Dakota will be featured as the keynote speaker. The conference will also include workshops, booths, a silent auction and two evening events. Youth ASL Live will perform on Friday and the Miss Deaf Minnesota Ambassador Pageant will be held Saturday at 7 p.m. Tickets for the Miss Deaf Minnesota Ambassador Program are $5 for students in high school and under, $7 for college students, $10 for adults and children age 2 and under are free.
