St. Kate's alumnae, staff and faculty in the media spotlight

In the last several weeks, St. Kate's alumnae, faculty and staff have grabbed their share of the media spotlight.

Actress and theater instructor Shanan Custer '92 hosted the eighth annual Ivey Awards that recognize achievements in Twin Cities theater, and was interviewed by Graydon Royce in the Star Tribune.

In addition, Staci Poirier, a member of the University's Corporate and Foundations Relations team and artistic director of Theatre Unbound in St. Paul, accepted a 2012 Ivey Award for "Inventive Reinterpretation" for the theater's all-female production of Julius Caesar.

Department of Apparel, Merchandising, and Design Chair and Assistant Professor Anupama Pasricha was quoted by Nancy Ngo in the St. Paul Pioneer Press, about recent moves towards a universal labeling program and certification for fashion designers who practice eco-design techniques.
