Author Azar Nafisi delivered keynote for Year of the Liberal Arts kickoff

Azar Nafisi, the author of Reading Lolita in Tehran: A Memoir in Books, joined St. Catherine University as the Bonnie Jean and Joan Kelly Distinguished Scholar-in-Residence in April 2011. This culminating evening event packed The O’Shaughnessy.

Her residency included casual and classroom discussions about the importance of the liberal arts with students, faculty and staff.
