Teachers master STEM education

Teachers at the Richfield STEM School in Richfield, Minn., demonstrated engineering projects during a community event, called “Make it Move.”

The Richfield STEM School completed its first year as a STEM magnet school in the spring of 2011, incorporating science, technology, engineering and mathematics into the curriculum for students in kindergarten through the fifth grade.

On May 11, 2011, teachers exhibited their final projects in a custom graduate certificate program from the National Center for STEM Elementary Education at St. Catherine University.
